Healing has a beginning, oftentimes a quiet one. There may come a gradual awareness that you are in a life that feels more like survival and less like fully living.
You may notice pain and its many outlets- irritation, confusion, overgiving, defensiveness, numbness, mistrust. Yet there still lies within you a growing yearning for something different: a sense of rest, deeper relationships, greater self-trust, self-knowledge, and the freedom to feel whole.
This is the gift of therapy: to create necessary change; to discover what you have within you.
Therapy is a container that receives your stories, wounds, history, people, places, and actions that shaped you, puts them through the lens of self-compassion, and teaches you to walk forward with empowered grace.
